Welcome to St John's Church
The parish church of Perry Barr, Birmingham

We are a lively, faithful community who worship in the 'Inclusive Catholic' tradition of the Church of England. As a member of the Inclusive Church Network, we welcome, value and affirm people of all ages, ethnicities, sexualities, genders, abilities and backgrounds.

At the heart of our church life is prayer, worship and Holy Communion, and we have services in church most days.

Our main service - the Parish Mass - takes place on Sundays at 10.30 am.

Most Sundays, our children and young people are invited to join 'Children's Worship' during the service, except for the last Sunday of every month when we all 'Praise Together'.

St John's has served the diverse, vibrant community of Perry Barr since 1833, and we remain committed to walking alongside our neighbours - all who live, work, learn and pray in the parish, and all who visit here - in faithful service, bringing the love of God into all that we do.

Our new vicar, Revd. Danny Payne, will be pleased to talk to you about baptisms (often called Christenings), weddings and blessings: please get in touch with any enquiries.
